About Us
The purpose of the SJBP Long Term Recovery Group is to provide spiritual, emotional, physical and financial resources to those affected by the disaster regardless of race, creed, color, gender, sexual orientation, disability or religious preference.
Membership includes participating faith-based, non-profit, governmental, business, and other organization and agency providing financial support, material, and/or labor for the work of SJBP Long Term Recovery Group is considered a Member Organization.

Mission Statement
The SJBP Long Term Recovery Group has agreed to meet and work together to address the needs of residents of St. John the Baptist Parish in response to damage sustained from Hurricane Isaac and subsequent disasters as needed.
The SJBP Long Term Recovery Group will strive to:
- Provide coordinated management of disaster long-term recovery to individuals affected by the disaster who are eligible for basic needs as a result of the disaster.Advocate for ongoing resources and preparedness within all voluntary agencies active in disasters.
